I retired as a high school teacher more than a decade ago, but often return to give classes on life issues. Since I started teaching in the 1970s, a lot has changed, and today's teenagers live in a world that is very different from the world of my first students. However, I find there are some things that have not changed. In my visits to today's classrooms, I find that young people have similar concerns about the choices they face as they approach adulthood.
